The interview was scheduled by HR and was supposed to be an HR interview. Nevertheless turned out to be a product interview. Ultimately the manager clarified the position which wa different than my expectation and we proceeded with a typical STAR question about "tell me a time... and specially focus on the discovery and data gathering part of the project". Though the example provided wasn't the best I could had found, the interviewer rather tried to press and understand what I created. On the interview round I asked the inverse question "which was the discovery process at zalando". Turned out the interviewer was interested on mentioning "I talked to clients and I actually did first hand customer interviews"

HR interview smooth. Asked about the tool you use, the best achievement, lots of discussions of the company and the role. Also asked whether you have worked in a consumer facing company
