Applied as Trainee E-Commerce. Shortly after the application, a telephone interview was held with the country manager, Nice and short call. No questions to the position or my motivation for the position, simply two questions to my CV. I think it was more a call to see whether sympathy was given. Afterwards, I was invited to take an online test. The test was easy: logic and mathematical questions were tested on time. Afterwards a short personal test followed (no time was taken). I took the test on Friday. The monday afterwards, I received an invitation to the AC. It was at the end of the same week. Short notice.A task had to be prepared for that: What was your best shopping experience and why?. The AC Day started by a short presentation from Zalando. The candidates presentations followed. Afterwards everyone got their own schedule for an interview with the HR as well as a case study with the country managers. The case study was oral. The last task on the day was a group discussion in which everyone received a role and should defend their position. Task was okay, setting was not good. Discussion was difficult to make when you sit next to each other in a row. AC was entirely in English.
After the AC they told us they would call the next Friday, which they did not. Also after two weeks, I could not reach anyone by telephone and no one called me back. I finally received an e-mail after writing them again. They declined me and asked for hours when I will be available, so they can call and give me feedback. Since then, 4 weeks have passed. I did not receive any feedback by now. And will probably never receive any.
Still, they send me a survey to give them feedback. :D
All in all: Easy tasks, process was good and fast until they deny you, then you reach and hear from them hardly. I would not apply again.
