After applying for the position, I undertook a phone interview with a senior member of the team I would be joining. The interview was just a few questions about my experience, interests and expectations. They clarified the next steps of the process which entail a take home test and an on-site interview.
Take home test was a very nice coding challenge to be completed over a weekend. It tests best practices and problem solving abilities without being overly hard.
Afterwards, the on-site interview was a friendly chat where the team was gauging whether the candidate is a good fit for the team, and then there's a very interesting whiteboard coding question.
