I applied online and then got an email from HR almost 2 months later. To officially "apply" for the position, you need to submit a case study they give after they initially email with 48 hours. It's was a little bit inconsiderate since I was unfortunately very busy with work during the time they forced me to take it.
The case study excel assignment "that shouldn't take more than an hour to complete" where they want you to estimate the profit for this made up company called Go.com. They want you to explain the process to arrive at your final number and not any data irregularities. You get daily sales data and historical revenue and profits. When you submit this case, they also want you to respond to a few basic questions of like what is your ideal company and where do you see yourself in 10 years.
I ultimately did not pass this first round due to my "incorrect profit estimation." I probably focused too much on the data irregularities. Don't make my same mistake.
