Entretien
Step 1: 1 Hour Assignment
Step 2: First Round Interview, in person/zoom
Step 3: Week Long Assignment
Step 4: Final Round Interview, in person/zoom
Easy to reach out to but a lot of miscommunication and missteps from the employer a long the way i.e. No recruiter call that was supposed to occur, incorrect email reach outs, false leads.
Interview was slightly uncomfortable at times.

Question 1
Where do you see yourself in 5 years.
Walking through career history (how did you get the job, what did you do, how was success measured).
Questions around why I had not had a job promotion in my current position, past job length and why I was applying at the time (temporally not due to career progression).
Very lengthy and unstructured take-home exercise. Feedback provided for take-home was rather vague and took over a week to be provided. However, everyone was very friendly throughout the whole process.

Entretien
The interview process was very thorough, from start to finish (offer) it took approximately 4.5 weeks. There are 2 take home exercises, the second which gives you a good understanding of the type of work you’ll do in the role, which is nice for understanding if you enjoy the work. The interviewers were all very transparent and easy going - I really enjoyed the overall process and appreciated the transparency and swift movement among every phase of the interviewing.

Entretien
The interview was relatively exhaustive, but nothing was asked that was ridiculous.
Steps of the process:
1) Quick excel project to analyze a dataset and identify anything interesting regarding the data
2) Zoom call with a Data Consultant at Yipit. Completely behavioral, basically to give more information on the role
3) A longer take-home assignment (1 week) that asks you to observe a massive dataset and project financial statistics. The dataset has some difficulties so cleaning/analysis needs to be done.
4) Two more zoom calls with other Data Consultants
5) Zoom interview with a leader (this case was a VP)
6) Reference checks, where you give 3 professional colleagues to answer questions regarding what it was like to work with you
