The interview began with a recruiter outreach, followed by an introductory conversation with the VP of engineering about the company's background and growth. Then I was given the take-home technical assessment with a 72-hour completion window.
Subsequent rounds included:
- work history and background discussions with the recruiter,
- technical and behavioral interviews with the data engineering leadership and team members,
- a conversation with the product manager,
- and a friendly chat with the CTO focused on company culture and vision.
While the process was relatively lengthy (early Jan to early Mar), every conversation was informative and gave me great insight into the company's culture and mission.
The team was friendly and welcoming through the process. Overall, it was a positive and transparent experience.
