It was a long process, though there was some organizational restructuring happening during the interview/application process, so that extended things a bit. The process consisted of: an online PI survey; a phone interview; in-person interview with the team manager; a second in-person interview with the rest of the team, team director, and 3 current students; and finally a third in-person interview with the team manager and director. Despite the long process, everyone was very communicative and apologetic along the way. I received regular updates about why there was a delay in making a decision, and overall it was a very positive experience.
