I found the posting through LinkedIn and applied directly on Xor's website. They appear to utilize the same hiring software that they sell. At first it felt odd and cold, but I can understand the convenience it offers the recruiters and candidate, though at the expense of feeling dehumanized as a candidate. You fill out the usual questionnaire reskinned as a mobile texting app and upload your resume to the chatbot UI. The chatbot scanned my resume and congratulated me on being a match (63%! Thanks for having that number customer-facing in the google calendar invite) and to choose a date and timefor a zoom interview. Upon showing up to the zoom meeting room at the scheduled time, the host never showed up. I had no way to contact the host or contact anyone at Xor, so I chose the option to re-schedule my interview time as it was my only way to interact with the company. I write this now as I am in the meeting room at the re-scheduled time, waiting 15 minutes for the host to arrive. Another no-show. I don't know if there's an issue/glitch happening or if the recruiter simply has somewhere better to be, but this negative experience has left me not wanting to work for such a company and contribute to expanding their boring dystopian HR automation software.

Fast and efficient. Used a web link to access the XOR recruiting chatbot. After the prescreening had a brief phone interview (10 min) and a face to face interview. Overall the hiring process took 1 day.
