I have been contacted by an HR and did a quick call about my competences and skills. After the call the HR confirmed me that I would get news for the next steps before Christmas. I wrote a mail few days before Christmas since almost 2 weeks passed but I got no replies. After roughly a month I wrote another one in order to get any feedback and understand if I was still running. I got my reply after 2 weeks (first week of February) which said that they went on with other candidates and due to internal restructuring they couldn't reach out to me. Note: I get that some issues occur but never say a deadline or give dates if you can't meet them. Furthermore, writing a mail by rejecting someone shouldn't take 6-7 weeks if you knew already after 1-2 weeks
