I applied for this position late but still within the closing date. I may have been over qualified which made their job in selecting me easier. They were very welcoming and friendly on the phone and at the interview. They were flexible with the interview date and changed it as I was on holiday. They only asked relevant questions and did not try to catch me out. The HR team were very disorganised and took ages to get my references. They were ok when I delayed my start date for contractual reasons. The HR team got some of personal details wrong. Did not get much information and Council benefits after I started.
