I was referred by a friend to fill out an application for a serving position. I came in to the restaurant during an off-peak time (around 2pm) to ask for an application and to speak with a manager. I completed the application on-site and submitted with my resume. Later that week I was called for an interview that was one on one interview with a manager. The process takes around 30 minutes. I was offered the job the next day.

The manager was upfront about the culture, the expectations and limitations of this position. It is required that you have Sunday availability and the process of getting a good schedule could take years due to their senority system. 4 table sections but it is a busy restaurant with the possibility of a turn.
