Awesome experience! I had one 30-minute phone interview and in-person interview following a few days later with the Director. My interview was insightful, refreshing and fun. I was given thorough feedback and was provided with clear direction that the hiring team would be moving forward with someone more senior for the role. I would normally think this news is unfortunate, but I appreciated the transparency and was given constructive advice for future interviews and career advancement. I left Wikimedia being content and a little more empowered than when I walked in. I never experienced an interviewer taking the time to really get to know me with my best interests at heart.
