The interview process at Wikifarmer consisted of three stages: an initial screening call, a behavioural interview, and a technical interview. The screening call focused on my background and motivation for applying, while the behavioural interview assessed my interpersonal skills through questions about past work experiences and problem-solving approaches. The technical interview was divided into two parts: a hands-on coding challenge to test my problem-solving abilities and a system design exercise where I was asked to architect a scalable system related to the current marketplace product.
Throughout the process, communication with Sarah, the Head of HR, was fluent, professional, and transparent, which made the overall experience smooth and enjoyable. The interviewers were knowledgeable and provided constructive feedback throughout. Overall, the interview process was well-structured, challenging, and gave me a clear understanding of both the technical and cultural expectations for the role.
