J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Whova (San Diego, CA)
Entretien
The screen was short and didn’t go the way I expected. Most of the conversation was spent questioning why I was applying to sales rather than exploring my background or experience. My degree was flagged as irrelevant and my work history wasn’t really asked about in any depth.
There was a moment where I was asked if I had friends already working in the field, which felt like an odd thing to screen for. There was also an impression given that I wasn’t familiar with the role’s responsibilities, though the conversation never really gave me a chance to show otherwise.

Question 1
What makes this product different from other products?
Easy questions about prior sales experience but were unrelated to the position. Asked about what the company does/how you would sell it to a customer. Did not seem prepared or seemed to have looked at my resume before the interview.
