One phone interview with a (non-manager) team member lasting about 15 minutes regarding technical competency. On site interview with 4 team members (2-3 developers and their business analyst). No background or substance screening requested for a contractor. The 4 person panel left and the Senior Architect took their place for a very comfortable chat about past work and probably further verifying company fit.
