Entretien
The process was smooth and the recruiting team was super nice and helpful. They always responded within 24 hours and provided helpful advice. The process went as follows:
1. Karat Qualify
2. Recruiter Phone Screen
3. Karat Technical
4. 45 min Technical w/ Whatnot Engineer
5. 1 hour Technical/Behavioral w/ Whatnot Engineering Manager
6. Reference Check
All technical interviews were very fair and medium level LeetCode style questions. The process overall was very positive!
Hirevue style interview then Karat technical interview. Asked leetcode easy then hard. Now I’m onto a 15 minute recruiter screening then technical interview with engineers if I pass then if I pass that another 2 problems (not sure if they’re data structure/algorithm problems) plus a behavioral
First was Hireview which was basic behavioral then Karat interview which went fine but got rejected then. Usually after is interview with Whatnot engineers but did not progress to that level.

Valid Sub sudoku where you have to validate row and col for an n x n sudoku board
I applied online through their website which was easy to use. Then I received an invitation for a one-way video interview about a day later which took 15 mins total to complete.
