I went through multiple interviews with the company. The first time, I didn’t perform well and getting rejected was completely fair. However, I was later invited to interview again, only to be rejected—not based on my skills or performance, but simply because a different manager had rejected me during the earlier round. It felt less like a structured evaluation and more like a power dynamic between managers—where decisions were influenced by internal hierarchy rather than merit. If hiring decisions depend on which manager's opinion carries more weight rather than a fair assessment of a candidate’s potential, it says a lot. Unfortunately, this experience only reinforces some of the rumors I’d heard about the management culture at Whatfix. Disappointing, to say the least.
