J'ai passé un entretien chez Westgroupe (Montréal, QC)
Entretien
After 2 interviews, the hiring manager called my references. Then I was called in for an in-person interview as they were ‘really impressed’, only to not select me. Generally, you should be calling references right before you send an offer to the candidate. Not only did you waste my time, you bothered my references for no reason. (I am still in contact with my references, and they let me know they were contacted.)
I’d also like to add that upon showing up to my in person interview, the hiring manager was taking her lunch, and the other person involved in this process took about 30 minutes to come down to greet me. Very unprofessional.
Their designer took the time to show me some of the work that they do, which seemed pretty outdated.
Upon asking for feedback to why I wasn’t selected, I never received a reply. Which is the minimum they could have done after going through a two week process with the hiring team. I assume they found someone to do the job for much cheaper due to the lack of response.
