Ghosted. I met with hiring manager on Teams. About 45 minutes of questions. She shared next steps (bringing in candidates to office for in-person interview, timeline) and asked my salary expectations - when I shared that info she said my expectations were within the range. she said she will be in touch either way. I sent a thank you email and a follow up and received no response. This lack of response is especially disappointing being in HR…. we always encourage feedback, closing the loop with candidates, etc. Practice what you preach.
