Before the interview, I would focus on understanding Wells Fargo’s business model and the technologies they use. Since the position is for a Data Analyst role, I would brush up on skills like data analysis, SQL, Python for data manipulation, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Additionally, I’d be prepared to discuss how my knowledge of machine learning and statistical analysis can be applied in banking and financial services.

I cold applied in August as soon as their applications opened. I got an OA a week or so later on HackerRank. It was basic multiple choice questions with two coding implementation questions. Then I got an email asking about my location preferences. A month or so later I got a call from a recruiter asking to schedule an interview. It was a video interview (1 hour), with two 30-minute back to back behavioral and technical sessions with a different interview for each. It was pretty straight forward, they just asked me some basic project experience questions, string manipulation questions, and other stuff I learned in my SWE class. Got a call 1-2 days later with an extended offer.
