An initial online screening consisting of generic and behavioural questions related to the role was immediately followed by a technical coding assessment (non-biology related). After the coding assessment, I was invited to an on-site interview that included a panel interview and a presentation. The TA team was slow to respond until followed up, and the outcome was provided after the declared timeline, with feedback only given upon request. Considering this application was for an urgent temporary role (less than a year contract) with no scope for extension, going through more than 6 weeks for an application is arguably excessively long and disrespectful of candidates' time.

Straightforward and smooth interview process. First round was with a pre-selected and standardised panel of questions, with a second round technical interview requiring a presentation. Both processes lasted about an hour.
