The first two interviews were great. The initial call was pretty standard in terms of questions and length. The person I spoke with provided a lot of insight into the company, role, and potential for growth.
The second interview consisted of a video chat and assignment. Basically, I was given some info and asked to setup a paid campaign and write out my processes, etc. I thought it went well because the interviewer asked to schedule another call. That's when things went downhill.
I followed up a few days later because I hadn't gotten an email about the interviewer's availability for our next call. Never heard back. Sent another email the following week mentioning that I understood if the position had been filled or was no longer available, whatever. I'm an adult and can handle rejection — no biggie. Never heard back.
The following week (3 weeks after the interviewer mentioned a follow-up call) I emailed the HR person who initially reached out to me about the position. Never heard back. It's been close to two months now and I've yet to receive any communication from them.
I find this to be highly unprofessional and totally unnecessary. It literally takes 2 minutes (or less, depending on your WPM!) to shoot an email back to me. Obviously I don't expect to hear back from anyone in the company at this point... I just wish they hadn't left me hanging.
