She also asked questions that I had already answered on the workaday page. I'm so turned off that I decided to boycott Wegman's (despite previously spending $150+ a month there.) I really like Wegman's as a brand, but your recruiters are hurting the brand. I feel like the interviewer only wanted someone who is going to be a dishwasher forever,

First they do a phone call, then follow up with an in-person interview if your availability and answers fit their interests. They ask a lot of the generic "why do you want to work for this company?" questions, which is a good opportunity to flex what you know about the company.
