Given the current state of the market, it's been really tough to get interviews and proceed in interview stages but I'm not even lying I had the worst experience. Was supposed to have a 30 minute chat with the hiring manager. He joined the call and spent more than 15 minutes just talking about the company and operations without asking me any questions, or even letting me introduce myself. He probably just asked me one question for the heck of it. Got a rejection email pretty quickly. It's super obvious that they conducted this interview just to show that they interviewed a minimum of some people when they already had decided someone else and the interviewer just kept talking to run out the clock, he wasn't least interested in knowing anything about my career. Complete waste of time.
