I would not do business with these people. Their representation of a position was two-faced and duplicitous. At first there was a "come-on down" type of mentality, that my shortage of related experience was no problem, and that the most important thing was that I could pass a drug screen at this hiring event the recruiter really wanted me to attend. The next thing I know, the recruiter drops off the face of the earth despite numerous times to reach him and another recruiter is telling me no way in hell I'm qualified because I don't have experience being a grunt or ditch digger. Yeah, I can solve calculus problems and perform advanced distillation and polymerization procedures in a lab, but apparently ditch-digging is where it's at with this handy dandy lucrative job in the oilfield that appears to be perfect for high school flunkies. The only positive out of all this was that I was given the boot before I drove 60 miles to this so-called hiring event for the job.
