I was approached with a recruiter on LinkedIn and decided to move on. There was a phone screening and that let me to on-site interview. Timing for on-site was a bit tough because I had a very long flight. However, when I meet the team I forgot about it. People were extremely nice and courteous.
I really enjoyed talking to the team. I received coding and design interviews. And then a behavioral/personality check session. The day after my interview, I was updated on the results and I was extended an offer later.
At the time of this interview, I was talking to other companies as well and I had good conversations with them as well. However, I really enjoyed my Walmart Lab interview the best.

NDA. In a generic way I can tell there were medium/slightly hard LeetCode level questions. Anyone who is familiar with medium level questions should be able to pull it off. Design questions are however very subjective. Study as hard as you can and try to understand the request before jumping on any design. Ask as many questions you need to have the best approach. Also time yourself so you don't lose your window.

These individuals have already damaged the credibility of genuine software engineers both in India and here by using fake resumes. Recently, I interviewed for a Principal Engineer (AI-based) position at Walmart. All the interviewers were at the director level and were Telugu, except for the first interviewer, who was a distinguished engineer and not Telugu. I successfully cleared the first interview, but the subsequent directors were unqualified. They didn't know what to ask and were searching for questions on the Internet, asking things they didn't understand. I found myself laughing at them during the interview, and quit the interview process.

For experience folks, some team do campus like interviewing by asking on code on Notepad. Other teams have more curated process. Overall average process. Covers a board range of topics.

My experience was horrible.
First i had a phone screen interview with a recruiter . That went well.
I was then asked to provide my availability dates for a virtual on-site. I did but I did not hear back from the recruiter for more than 3 weeks .
I tried to contact the recruiter to no avail . The recruiter finally contacts me to let me know there was a screw-up somewhere which explains why my virtual on-site was never scheduled.
I finally get scheduled for a second technical round in which the interviewer asked an algorithm question . I think the interviewer could have worded the question a little better , but that is my opinion.
Overall , I think the recruitment process at Walmart Global Tech is not organized and needs serious revamping at the level of the recruiters and the interviewers.
I would not recommend this place to any engineer.
