Very simple and straight to the point. Management asks basic get to know you questions but truly wants to know if you are reliable and dependable. They want to ensure you will show up to work.

After applying online, I received an over-the-phone interview/screening within a week. I was invited to a group interview the following week. During that process I sat along with other new associates and a panel of 3 interviewers. The interview started late, and seemed unprepared, as they tried their best to "set up" the room. The questions asked and scenarios set were straight forward and to the point. Easy. Then, they gave us paperwork to read through and submit along with our resume and other forms.
I received a call back within a few days, inviting me to a 2 day group orientation. The first day dealt with educating us (the group comprised of different types of applicants ranging from daytime associates, to maintenance, to overnight stockers). We learned about the history of Walmart and correct measures of handling equipment and merchandise. We also learned about customer and associate thievery. The next day, we learned about safety in the workplace and got a hands on introduction/walk through to our "applied positions".

The interview process was straightforward and simple. I have yet to experience on boarding, but will update when completed.

Was quick and easy! Showed up for hiring event and got hired on the spot! And started working like a week later. Been a good company so far. Spoke with Kiera. She is very nice and understanding.
