I called the store that morning (make sure you call between 7 AM and 2 PM) and spoke to the manager to ask if they were hiring. He said yes and invited me to the interview that day. It is literally the easiest interview. Just make sure you stress the point that you are reliable and can work any and all hours (especially holidays). You also have to call an automated number when you fill out the application, but no worries, they don't ask you any interview questions, just tax information.

The interview was very easy, with paid training following. Applied with a QR code, scheduled the interview myself, and was in and out of the interview in about five minutes, maybe less.
