I applied for the role two months ago, and upon following up with the HR representative, I was informed that the position had been put on hold. Last week, HR reached out to see if I was still interested, to which I responded affirmatively. She inquired about my reasons for leaving my current organization, as well as my current and expected salary. I had my first interview this week, which included two interviewers from different time zones. I felt confident about my performance, but I later received an email from HR stating that I was not shortlisted for the next round. It was disappointing, especially since I answered all their questions well. However, they decided to proceed with candidates who had more experience. It's their loss, and I have to move.
