Spoke with the hiring VP over the phone for about 45 minutes. Most of the conversation was around the job description and whether it was something that I felt I was a good fit for. Reviewed some past roles that matched the job description and success stories with the Vice President. He asked me what it would take to be a part of the team from a compensation perspective and he said that would be in line with what the previous leader made and was going to recommend me to interview with his Senior VP.
