I applied via linkedin and then a recruiter reached me in a couple of weeks. Idk why but I got this "why are you even here?" vibe through the whole conversation, like they didn't really want me to apply and were forced to attend the interview? The talk was extremely vague - recruiter won't tell you nothing specific about the role, the team or even the benefits they offer. The only thing I learned was that team is really modern in term of technologies and... Well, that's basically it :) The next interview stage is a home assignment. I usually don't do them as it mostly ends with companies ghosting you or getting no feedback, but this time I decided to try just out of curiosity . (btw you have to send the code in a zip archive - remember about the "most modern team" ? ) The home assignment itself is extremely easy and morally outdated - a typical CRUD app with a bunch of bugs that you gotta fix and write the tests. Guess how it ended huh? Exactly, they ghosted me and ignored my follow-up emails. After several weeks I received an AI-generated refusal email without any feedback or context. Well, that's the life, but hear me out, fellow devs - never ever accept home assignments!

It was a very practical interview, focused on designing and critical evaluation of a task at hand rather than theoretical questions around algorithms and data structures. Also they looked into testing knowledge if you are testing what you implement as a practice
