The assessment centre was held in-person at the Newbury office and consisted of three parts: a group exercise, a presentation task, and a one-to-one interview.
We started with the group exercise, where we had around 15 minutes to read through provided data and make notes individually, followed by about 20 minutes of team discussion to come up with recommendations to present to the assessors, which then they asked questions about them.
The presentation task (individual) involved receiving a document outlining a proposal. We had to prepare a short presentation about it and answer follow-up questions from the assessors.
The one-to-one interview followed a standard structure, with questions about previous experience (such as placements or internships), technical tools used, teamwork examples, and motivation for applying to Vodafone.
Throughout the day we had multiple breaks and a lunch break, and they provided refreshments.
