one of the leads of the team reached out for an interview and the director of research joined in on the video interview. they asked me about my experience and background and what i have been doing in research and why i applied for the role. i was looking forward to this interview and have been prepping for it. as the interview began, i started to get negative vibes from the director. she was very condescending in her tone and behavior towards my responses and would always have a following comment that made me lose a lot of confidence. i was preparing for a 30 minute interview but they cut me short and it ended within 10 minutes 😭 i smiled, thanked them for their time and called it a day.
