Interview consisted of two initial phone screenings. One more technical than the other. Then invited to an on-site where I met with two more people. Very technical interviews over network technologies mostly. Last step was another phone screening that was a technical screening of various things from coding to security.

Straightforward recruiter, hiring manager, and then team panel interviews. The questions ranged from technical to behavioral and the culture seemed fine. Unfortunately, they were wedded to a hard Return to Office and relocation, which is becoming less common in infosec. Even though the supervisor would be sitting in another country and coworkers would be sitting on the opposite coast from where they wanted the role, they pushed relocate or reject. The offer wasn’t good enough for my cost of living difference and the recruiter wasn’t prepared to go to the top of their range despite great feedback. Equity was alright, but the yearly bonus and benefits were standouts.
