Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.

Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Victoria's Secret en déc. 2009
Entretien
Dropped off application in store, got a call back the next day to come in for an interview. Wore black slacks, pumps, a white dress shirt, and a black cardigan to the interview-- definitely dress professional for this interview, as the dress code kind of revolves around it, even though you aren't required to wear formal dress clothes, you ARE required to wear all black with optional white accents.
Most of the questions were pretty stereotypical-- "what would you do in a difficult situation", "how would you handle an angry customer", etc etc. But several of them also focused on loss prevention, which is a huge issue with VS. If you get the job, be prepared to constantly be on the lookout for thieves.

Question 1
What would you do if you saw someone displaying suspicious behavior linked to loss (stealing)?
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
