Had 30 minute interview with manager. During which she had question on work history, some high level design question on CDN (not sure how it applied to their tax services domain) and a coding exercise which she wanted to stop after 10 min into a progress although we still had 10 min left to the interview. Felt like she was not really interested from the start of interview.

Unfortunately I had to end the call just a few minutes into the first interview, the recruiter cold called me, no scheduled interview and after hours.
The connection was poor and the recruiter just started firing questions. He didn't even say which company he was calling from, the role applied for, or any defining information.
After answering one question thoroughly, he asked me again, with impatience.
Please schedule interviews! And make sure you have a good connection and a recruiter that can converse well with candidates.
You may be losing great candidates.

Entretien
In the HR screening call I was told the hiring process was in the very early stages and the company was planning to onboard a new employee in about a month and a half. Then I was contacted on a Sunday (!) to schedule a technical interview with members of the development team. The day of the technical interview came, and it got cancelled 30 minutes before start because, and I quote, "some wires must have crossed", and "the position has been filled". Why lie to candidates about the process being in the early stages then?
