VZW takes applications through the web and sometimes uses job search portals. The initial application is prescreened, then the prospective candidate will go through a live prescreen with H.R. and computer test. If they pass those they will get a final interview with a Transition Supervisor who recommends the candidate or not. Final decisions rest with H.R. and the Transition Associate Director but are based in large part on the recommendation from the final interview. Then the candidate must pass drug and background checks.

This may seem like a no brainer, but the questions that trip up prospective customer service reps in a call center deal with making decisions about customers in relation to policies. Questions like dealing with a tough decision where you had to weigh the pros and cons of a situation or where an unreasonable request was made by a customer and what you did and why.
