Recruiter initially reached out and had an introduction call. It was very positive and recruiter said they will follow up with next steps. Recruiter provided another contact to reach out to just in case, but both never followed up despite multiple out reaches on my behalf. A month later I get a generic email saying the position has moved in another direction. Extremely unprofessional but sadly an all too common occurrence.

Phone interview with HR at Basking Ridge NJ. Call duration was about 25 minutes. Basically a walk through of Verizon's job posting requirements and further details on how my work experience would match. When I asked for more detail information about the opening, I was diverted to ask the hiring manager. At the end of the phone interview, I was requested to submit an application on their web site for official consideration. Received email a week later that they found a more appropriate candidate.
