After emailing Venn with my CV, I received a reply asking when I would like to come in. The building itself was a little hard to find, but once I was there it was lovely! I met with the MD and Ops Director, who were both really nice and put me at ease very quickly. They seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me as a person rather than seeing if I ticked certain boxes, and the set up felt more like a two-way conversation rather than a 'put you on the spot' interview. The MD emailed me that evening asking if I would like to come back next week for a second interview, and to hear my thoughts on the role. For this interview they also showed me around the office, and set aside some time for me to speak to a member of the team and ask them any questions I had about working at Venn. The same evening, the MD called me and offered me the role!
