There are at least 4 total interviews.
1st with Recruiter
2nd with Manager
3rd is a skills test
The first two interviews were pleasant, I was selected to move forward with the skills test and the directions are intentionally vague. They give you one week to design the solution that you come up with and the interview is you presenting the solution as if they are they client. This will take you 30-40 hours in total to complete most likely.
My advise would be to time your presentation to 30 minutes (which they don't tell you) this accounts for 5-10 minutes of introductions and then questions at the end. My mistake was thinking I needed to present for 45-60 minutes and I had to rush through some key points to allow for questions.
A couple things to consider:
I had one member show up late which delayed the start but then 2 of the 3 members on the call left right on the dot at the top of the hour which I find to be a minor red flag.
A company asking you to do a project of this size for free is pretty absurd.
I was not selected to move forward which is fine but I did ask if there was any specific feedback that I could use going forward and I did not receive a response. In my opinion, if someone spends 30-40 hours on a project for you-the least you could do is respond with some feedback.
Overall, I liked the people and it seems like it would be a decent company to work for but if they ask this much of their applicants - I can only imagine the expectations as an employee.
