Initial tech screen was a two part question, backtracking solution, leetcode medium difficulty. On site was 6.5 hours total: a 90 minute practical programming exercise with a Vanta engineer, 60 minute system design, 60 minute coding (similar to tech screen), 2 hours of behavioral interviews, a 30 minute product demo and 30 minutes with an eng manager near the end to ask any questions. The process was fair but somewhat redundant (asked same behavioral questions across multiple interviews) and some aspects like the product demo would be better kept as an onboarding task to avoid wasting candidate time as the 6.5 hour ask is a major commitment.
