Had an initial call with this company after being contacted by a recruiter, but it seems there were mismatched expectations regarding my field of research, since it appeared that they thought I had a different background? Person on the call was friendly and polite but it became clear very quickly that this would not be progressing, and I was fine with that since I already had two competing offers anyway. I just wish there had been a better initial screening process to avoid unnecessary interviews.
