I applied online and received an email invite to interview with the internal recruiter a few days afterward. This was a 45-minute phone conversation selling me on relocation to Tennessee (I currently reside in TX) and how wonderful they are as an employer. We discussed my background and agreed to move forward in scheduling a video panel interview with the hiring authority and one other peer. A couple of days before my interview the recruiter sent an "in-mail" on LinkedIn asking about my interest in the role and let her know if I would be interested in this position. This was a blanket email sent to who knows how many people on LinkedIn. The following day I had my video panel interview which was a joke. As soon as we started the panel said "I know we only have 30 minutes so we will jump right into our questions". What? This was a red flag! The interview had been scheduled for an hour so there was a big disconnect between the panel and recruiting. Two days later I received a canned rejection email. This was another colossal waste of time. Of course, they are getting paid to interview candidates, I am not being compensated for my time. Show a little respect!
