I applied for a telecommute position with UHG. A couple days later, I received a generic email asking to select a time for a phone call with a recruiter. I was skeptical right away because the email did not mention anything personal about myself or the position I applied for. I set up the phone call interview anyway. I called in at time of the interview and no one ever connected. I emailed right away to apologize for any potential error on my part and the recruiter just sent another link to reschedule, no apology or explanation. I did connect with the recruiter at the second scheduled time but he was almost 15 minutes late into answering the phone call (I listened to hold music during that time). Right away, he was very disorganized, talking about personal matters that I don't need to know about (unprofessional). He has no idea what position I applied for (another red flag for feeling like a generic recruiter was after me). He also doesn't see half my experience on his screen and was surprised when I told him about it, despite me emailing it the day before in my "apology email". He then tells me that the "X position you applied for has been filled". The position he mentioned is where I am CURRENTLY working at a whole other company. I clarified that with him that is where I currently work.. and give him the job # for the job I applied for at UHG . He goes on to talk about how hard it is to get telecommute positions, there are hundreds of very qualified applicants, etc but he has clinic positions he is trying to fill. So basically the whole point of this phone call was a bait and switch. He should have told me up front he was a recruiter for their in person clinics in Seattle and he cannot offer any advise or interviews for the telecommute position I applied for. It was a big waste of time over two days not to mention feeling like I had to be "on" for an interview from the time I got his first email to schedule the phone call. I am going to keep trying to find a telecommute position with UHG and other companies, this recruiter is wrong. There are literally dozens if not hundreds of open telecommute positions with UHG and Cigna, etc.

It was difficult but in the best way as they wanted to make sure you were the right person for the position. Getting an interview takes a little bit while they review your application.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
They asked me a clinical question on which patient I would triage first.
The interview process was standard. The questions varied on level of complexity but overall the interview process was fine. They also like to do team interviews. Which can be a little intimidating

Pre-set questions with video recorded responses in interview, then phone interview, then in person interview with hiring manager. I found out within 48 hours that I was offered the job.
