Le processus a pris 6 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez UnitedHealth Group (Woodbury, MN)
Entretien
I was invited onsite to interview for an associate director product role. The people I met were all pleasant and professional, and we engaged in good two way dialogue. We had a nice conversation. I interviewed with 5 people.
Then it came time for the “process” part of interview to kick in where they pull out a sheet of paper, obviously provided by HR. Now, for each interview the interviews had a look of disdain on their faces like, I’m obligated to ask these (bozo) questions.
And dumb and irrelevant questions they were. Not as bad as “how many ping pong balls can you fit into a 747” (that would have been much welcome) but questions that some idiot in HR put together like “tell me about a time when someone you were working with did something unethical.” Huh? Where do you think I’ve worked? For the Soprano’s? And they went on, to the point that I’m now visually annoyed because it’s different people asking the same stupid questions.
Tip to UHG: revamp your interview process. It’s very poor, and those canned questions — while printed in an official looking document — offer no value. Not from me, the interviewee, nor the interviewer as judged by the looks on their faces when they had to go through these canned questions.
Finally, if I walked into an interview with prepared notes and read them verbatim, you’d not be impressed. We’re not impressed with this poor part of your interview process and it’s the reason I declined your job offer.

It was all virtual interviews for a remote role. In total, 3 separate interviews to meet with various levels (hr, hiring manager, panel with equivalent level employees). Questions felt more about personality fit versus resume/skills; which in retrospect is telling.

Four interviews spread out over three days. Very organized; behavioral -type questions. I had plenty of time to ask questions at the end of each interview. Everyone was on time for the interviews, they listened to my responses and asked follow-up questions.
