Because i wanted to switch to non-sales job, so i applied for Client Advisor Assistant in UOB Private Bank. Received a call directly from the unit head to schedule the interview around 2 weeks after applying online in May. And on the day, the interview only last in 5 MINUTES! The reason was that the unit head (who called me to arrange the interview) read my resume WRONGLY! She thought my current position was 'Assistant Relationship Manager', though in my resume I put as 'Relationship Manager' and followed by the list of my job description, responsibilities & achievements! So it's quite clear what i was doing. In my 8 years in banking industry, this UNPROFESSIONAL interview never happen to me before. I felt very insulted for the '5 minutes meeting'. How could the recruiter mistakenly reading the resume? She was supposed to review wisely the candidates' resume before confirm to invite them for interview. I prepared myself for the interview, had 40 minutes journey to the venue and ended up wasting my time.
However, i just look at the good point, fortunately i don't join the team which supervisor sounds unprofessional for me, and at last i've given a chance to develop my career in another private bank.

Friendly hiring manager, easy-going, and great experience overall. Just one round of interviews and I was offered the role two days later. This is the fastest turnaround time I have ever experienced.
