I received an interview invitation back in April and there was a total of 25 people in the room for a "Group Interview". The interview is 3 hours long, so be prepared. Katie, the CEO of Unearthed Rentals, did an informal brief explanation of the company. I absolutely loved what the company stands for and their work environment seems wonderful to be a part of. After about 45min-1 hour of Katie talking, you take a break and you move on to the next step of the interview. I did not join the next step as I do not believe in Group Interviews simply because you cannot get to know the person one-on-one.
I must say I have noticed something off lately from this company as far as new employees being hired. I noticed one of their former employees left a negative review on Glassdoor because he was fired. It took a while for Unearthed Rentals to replace him but instead of replacing him, they were hiring for a Showroom Manager. A Showroom Manager was hired but recently noticed that he's no longer with the company. The position I applied for was a Logistic Guru + Operations Manager back in April but they were also hiring for a Studio Coordinator. A few months go by (July to be exact) and noticed they did hire a new Studio Coordinator but the position for the Logistic Guru + Operations Manager was still open ( I guess the 25 people from the Group Interview weren't good enough?... who knows). Fast-forward to August and they re-open both positions for Operations Manager and Studio Coordinator. Um.. what happened to the Studio Coordinator that was recently hired? Anyway, the position for Operations Manager was filled but Studio Coordinator is still open. Something's not right....
