It was a great, stressful, and very rewarding experience! We arrived at 8 and were greeted by friendly staff. We ate breakfast as they told us the schedule of events. Each of us was to have prepared a sample lesson to demo to the group and to school leaders. One by one, in alphabetical order by first name, we stood in front of our "class" and taught our lesson. The school leaders provided us with in-the-moment feedback which we were expected to incorporate instantly. I was the last candidate to go, so I did my best with incorporating everything I had heard that day. It really lets you stand out and it's probably the main reason I got an offer. After that we had the opportunity to observe classrooms. Lastly, was the one-on-one interview portion. It was supposed to be for 15 min, but we ended up talking for close to 40. Very straight forward questions. Mostly just wanting to get to know you. I was offered a spot at the end of the interview. If you apply and meet for the interview MAKE SURE YOU ARE READY TO ACCEPT THE OFFER. They expect you to or else they will rescind it. Good luck!

Had a group zoom interview with one of the more senior teachers. He asked us a bit about why we were interested in the position and had us demo a lesson plan to get an idea of our teaching style.

It is a multi step process. A little selective but overall fairly easy. Starts with the application, sending your documents, the initial interview, & finally, the final interview before you’re emailed about an offer.
I did a demo lesson and the. Had a one on one interview and then recieved an email stating I got the position. After the program I got offered a job at one of their schools.
