1. First Round Video Interview
2. Code Challenge
3. Final Video Interview
I applied and received a message through Indeed inviting me to a video interview with the company. The message was sent from their Lead Designer, and didn't mention that I would be interviewing with someone else, so I was caught off guard when the CEO/Founder appeared on camera for my first interview.
The code challenge was very straight forward and simple. They emailed candidates a mockup and asked that they replicate it. On top of that, they offer candidates $20 for completing the challenge. The only con is that they expect candidates to download a trial version of Sketch to complete it.
As for the final interview, they did not show up to the first time that they scheduled with me. The reason was because their schedule had been chaotic, so I had to reschedule. The final interview ended up being 30 minutes long, and with the entire company (7 people).
After receiving the rejection email, I replied thanking them for their time and asking them for any feedback regarding my interview process, but never received any responses.
