The interview process took roughly three weeks. There were a total of four different interviews; first with the recruiter, the next two with the hiring manager, and the fourth included the hiring manager, another manager, and a current employee. I also had to submit 2 references, and in the end, was not offered the position. This entire process was a huge waste of time, and I would advise anyone against applying for this company. The are full of empty promises(as seen from the reviews) and ultimately will not help you in the end.

Interview process was awesome. I loved getting to the connect with the team and they were very supportive and transparent. It was disheartening to not receive an offer as I felt I interviewed very well, I am qualified if not overqualified, I showed great understanding of the product and sales methodology, I’ve had success in similar roles, and I felt I fit in culturally and the hiring manager and others reciprocated this feeling as well. They are also building out an HQ in Austin so that was a plus as well. As mentioned I was shocked to not receive an offer. One thing that stood out to me was that I only met and have been in contact with female employees since I originally was introduced to Udemy in 2020. I hate to think that this had anything to do with the team not moving forward, but I have interviewed a lot over the last three years and have never felt more confident in an interview than I did this time with Udemy. With that being said if an opportunity arises in the future I will absolutely throw my hat in the ring.Udemy genuinely seems like one of the best companies to work for.
